September Creative Crew== Halloween

Hi all, today is the day to post our cards for the creative crew. This month Barb was our challenge leader and she chose Halloween as the theme for this month. Thank you Barb for the fun kit and especially for sending me a second one as the post office neglected to deliver the first one. 😟.  The cute image Barb chose was Newton's Nook --Happy  Howloween along with sentiments. Also included in the kit  was 3 dps papers, Bat Festival and Haunted houses from Echo Park and Color Me Halloween from Around the Block. So cute.  Barb also sent a candy corn ribbon to top it off.

For my card I used a black card base and the color me Halloween, as the first layer. I then took the basic black and cut out my first tag,  for the second layer tag I chose bat festival.  I used the haunted houses for the smallest tag and on the inside I also used it for the pumpkin cut out. I colored my image with colored pencils and used a metallic silver pen to color in the moon and stars on the image. I then added a spring to the back of the image so it would wiggle when move (which doesn't photograph well). To top it off I took the cute ribbon and made a bow  which I think added a pop to the card. On the inside I cut out a pumpkin from the haunted houses dsp.

Here is my card:

Thank you for stopping by. I do appreciate it.

Please take a little time and visit the other creative crew blogs/galleries, I am sure you won't be disappointed.

 Until next time,

Hugs,

Carol

Carol, your card is adorable and what fun to find pumpkin inside, too. Very creative!
