Riley and Co Challenge Oceans of Fun
Hi all, I am joining my sweet friend Kelly and her crew at Riley and Co for their challenge this week...Kelly continually makes these darling cards with Riley images and it's hard not to get swooped up in all the fun. This week Kelly is the challenge hostess and below is her challenge....
Kelly's challenge is Oceans of Fun with Riley! Bring out your nautical side! Use a boat, ocean, beach (etc) and include the colors of red and blue!
I chose to color up Sophie in a swimsuit. I stamped her once in black and then stamped her again in red. I colored the black image with my copics; then with the red image I cut out her swim suit and glued it onto my colored image..I like how that turned out,
I used a round nestie to cut Sophie out and layered her on real red and night of navy circles (both from SU). I sponged a little crumb cake at the bottom of the circle and some baby blue for the sky. Once done with that I glued a water dsp on the top of the card and crumpled up some crumb cake for the bottom...now in my head this was supposed to look like a beach scene (but my head wasn't really clear on what it wanted my fingers to do...). I then used some dimensional stickers to add a little extra, to kind of make it more beach like...
If you want to check out the rest of the creations for Kelly's challenge just click Here and check them all out...
Thanks for stopping by...
Until next time.
Hugs,
Carol

I love your beach scene. The water and sand - so smart. The bikini is too cute!
