Mystery Image Challenge #8
Time for the mystery challenge reveal...I thought I had lost my card picture along with the change over for the new computer...after searching for a half hour guess what I found it...lol...This new computer is going to get the best of me before all is said and done...Holy hanna, I can't find a thing on it... Ok so now my blog is going to act up on me as well...sooooooo...here goes.(It won't let me reposition this bad picture of the beautiful image).
Darlene was our lovely hostess and sent this wonderful D. Morgan image to all of us...as you can above, it is beautiful. The sentiment is part of the image....well.....I had to do some modifying as I didn't do such a good job on coloring the frame.....Rather than beg Darlene for more images I decided to make my image different....
and this is the result.. As you can see I cut out the picture frame and the kittens tails and mounted the picture on very wall paperish looking dsp. (to give the appearance of the kittens sitting on the ledge of the window looking out. I then took and cut out the sentiments and mounted one on the front of the card.....
and the other on the inside. Since the kittens tails were right by the saying I had to cut the sentiment out a bit wonky and then mount it on green paper (like I did with the one on the front). I took some of the wallpaper dsp and cut it into strips to add a bit more to the inside and make it look like it belonged with the outside.
I hope you aren't upset Darlene that I butchered this beautiful image...
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog...I do appreciate it.
Until next time,
Hugs,
Carol

Yours is stunning and I love how you have colored it up!!
Lovely card my friend...it really looks like a framed work of art against a very pretty wall papered wall...so peaceful and serene settings...love it!♥
I too liked the stamp and think that you chose the perfect DP to go with it.
Nice job!!
