Mo's Challenge #131--flowers
Finally I have gotten a card done once again for Mo's challenge. It has been a long time and it feels go to play along this week. The challenge is to use flowers...anywhere, in your image, on your card, in your dsp...you get the idea. Well this week I chose Mo's image of an angel and her puppy...not only is it adorable but I am able to use this card for a swap hosted by my Sweet friend Paola...it is called "For the love of Angels". I truly believe we are surrounded by angels every day and was excited to play along in her swap..
I chose to color this beauty with a blue robe and used blue and purple on her wings all done in copic markers. Of course she has glitter on her wings..I rarely am able to do a card without SOME glittah...lol I used SU bashful blue for the base of the card, the flowers and the background oval. I also used some of the spica pens to highlight her hair although I don't believe you can see it too well. I used a embossing folder gifted to me by wonderful, kind, generous friend Linda. I love the folder and thought it would work well here. It gives the angel the attention she deserves. I put pearls in the centers of the flowers to keep the blue/white theme going. I mounted the flowers on dimensionals and placed them over the swirly leaves on the folder. All in all I like the simple effect of the card.
Thank you for stopping by to check out my Angel and her puppy.
Until next time,
Hugs,
Carol
