Mystery Image Swap
Yesterday was the day our mystery image cards were due and believe it or not,.....mine made it there on time....SHOCK..lol I have been a bit behind most of the summer so was glad I wasn't sending PRIORITY last minute. Samantha sent us this cute SU pig image from a retired set cured yet?. When it was actually out I had thought about buying it but never got around to it so it was so much fun to receive the images to work with.
Here is my card:
I found the technique to make the background on Gina's stamp tv and tried it out for this card..I like how it kinda looks like a quilt. I started to color with copics but changed over to water color color crayons as the ink started to run a bit. I made my little pigs cheeks really pink just like she had a fever....
Anyway, thanks Samantha for the fun image...
Thanks also for stopping by....
Until next time...
Hugs,
Carol

we both blogged our cards within 30 or so minutes from one anther, we both used watercolor crayons and we both had some diamond shapes as a background...mmmm...hello 'twin'sistah of my heart! ehehhe♥♥♥
I love this card Carol...and I really need to take after you and look for new techniques, or fancy folds, or sketches more often. Your creations are always great and you're always willing to try something new! I love that about you ♥
