Kit #8
I'm back with another kit from the kit swap. This kit is from Terry and wow, was it a kit. Terry had it filled to the brim with embellishments, ribbon, images the whole nine yards...Thank you Terry for such a great kit. I loved it and it was a challenge as I wasn't sure how I wanted to use the kit. When I first saw the image I thought maybe I should make a partial dress/skirt out of paper and mount it to the dress form....however the image was so intricate and pretty, I chose to color it and use the glitter pens to go over it to make the colors pop and show off the pretty design. Terry had sent along the dress form stamped on regular paper and some that had been cut out with a die...how fun is that? Anyway, here is my card:
I used umber paper and cut the pretty dsp to layer on the front. I loved the dsp so wanted to use as much as I could. I made a little bow for the corner from a bit of the burlap ribbon Terry sent. The amber/brown rhinestones were just crying out to be used so I edged the side of the card with them. The little clear rhinestones were used on the dress form stand.
Terry, I hope you like how this turned out. Thank you again for the great kit...I still have many more cards to make with it...
Thanks for stopping by,
Until next time,
Hugs,
Carol
