DDD February 2015 Challenge Umbrellas

This month for our friendly duel, Laura Jean was the wonderful kit creater for the Divas and Darlene was the kit creator for the Dazzlers. We got an awesome kit from LJ and this is the details LJ sent:



Our theme this month is Umbrellas! Believe it or not, National Umbrella Day is February 10th. Darlene and I thought it would be fun to think spring. since we have seen too much white stuff this winter


Here are the contents of the kit I sent:

Accessories: 3D flower (K&Co), White "pretty ribbon" (Hobby Lobby), all other ribbon (SU!), White Bow (paper studio), Butterfly Chipboards (Heidi Swapp) Asst Buttons, Twine (MME).

Well I must say it was a fun, fun, fun kit to create with. I tried to use as much of the kit as I could. I loved the little girl and her umbrella and couldn't wait to color up the image.

Here is my kit....

i used the little flower in the corner to offset the orange circle in the upper left hand corner. I colored the image with copids and tried to use the colors that were the closest to the dsp. I used the umbrella image for the inside with the same colors....here it i:

I must apologize for the pictures. They are kind of dark as I had to take them inside with overcast skies.
