March 2015 DDD challenge card
Hi all, Here I am with my card for this months duel. It is still the 15th so I guess I am on time. (I'm so slow). The hostesses for this months duel were Paola for the Darlings and Kadie for the Divas. The theme for this month is "Whats your brew?" Kadie sent the most wonderful kit. It contained two images, A/I Cathy Caffeine and MFT A la mode you're my cup of tea. I colored both images the same day I got them as I couldn't decide if I liked coffee or tea better...it really depends on the day and the weather. I did chose the coffee image in the end as I do drink that more consistently. The dsp is from Prima--coffee break collection and I used the Amuse Studio (coral Twine) along with the coffee stirer and rhinestone from Simple Stories. I colored the image with copics and used SU silver glitter glue for Cathys earrings. So..... here is my card.
It is hard to see the rhinestones but they are under the cup on the stir stick and in the O in hot java.
Here is the inside of my card:
I used the extra paper from the dsp I cut for the front to create the inside of my card..
We were supposed to share what kind of tea/coffee we liked as well. I am a fan of medium brew coffee and latte's, and Chai tea.....yummm.....
Thanks for stopping by. Please stop by the other DDD team members blogs, I am sure you will not be disappointed.
Until next time,
Hugs,
Carol

The inside is so nicely done, incorporates the front and ties it all together. I'm with you, it was hard to pick whether to use coffee or tea!
