DDD April Challenge I picked a flower for you

Hi all, Finally I am here. I love this duel but I am still struggling with my camera and uploading. Oh well. This month Melina made the kits for the Dazzlers and Tami did the Diva's kits. Oh what a kit was provided. I colored up my image the minute I got my kit and started pondering the layout and which of the beautiful dsp I would use. Tami gave us a wonderful assortment to chose from. I finally settled on the polka dot pink border from bazzil for the front of the car, the swiss dots-n-flowers dry embossed paper, and a couple of the My Minds Eye My Girl papers. The image is Great Impressions Stamps--Lizzy dressed up. We also had ribbons rhinestones, flowers....a whole assortment of fun with a twist. We were asked to use the green ribbon somewhere on our card. See if you can find mine ...




You got it. I chose to accent the image in the corners with my green ribbon a little hard to tye the bows but I was on a mission.lol...

Here is the inside of my card.
I chose one of the cute dsp and cut my border from it. I then added the flower and rhinestone that was in the kit.

I am a wife a mom of two adult girls and a grandma to 3 wonderful girls and 2 fun active boys. They are the lights of my life, I am also a papercrafter. I love making cards and trying out new ideas and techniques. I dabble in other crafts as well. I crochet blankets, hats and dresses as well as other items to donate to the premie project and try my hand at anything that looks fun. Not necessarily successfully but I do try. Needless to say I am busy. I work full time, spend time with the family and craft when I can. Life is good and God has blessed me. For that I am truly thankful.

Carol, what a great card you made with the kit! I just love that you used the dry embossed paper to showcase that die cut. It is just the perfect size for the image. Your little dotted edge is just the ticket! Good job! xoxo

ohh what an awesome die...it sure makes the image pop as well as your coloring...(love your choice of colors for such sweet image!)

Hi Carol! I'm a little late to this blog posting but loving your beautiful card! That image is so perfectly colored and displayed with the gorgeous background papers and that lovely die cut panel and ribbon bows. Love the pretty panel and flower on the inside too! Great job!!!
