DDD June Challenge---Pets
Hi all, it is again time for the DDD challenge our wonderful hostesses are Darlene for the Dazzlers and LJ for the Divas... Here is what LJ sent us....
Anyways, as you have noticed, you have received some cute dog images from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. Our theme this month is Pets! Darlene and I decided on this theme when we saw each other at Camp-Stamp-In-Oga a few months ago.
Rest of the kit includes:
Patterned Papers from Paper Studio
Ribbon - Stampin Up
Banners - Spare Parts / Paper Studio
Bow - Spare Parts / Paper Studio
Brads: Recollections (Michaels)
Buttons: Papertrey Ink - Vintage Fall Collection.
What a fun kit to play with. Love the Kraftin Kimmie image...that little dog is adorable. I loved the kit. I used a technique challenge on Splitcoast stampers called a hinge card. I'm not sure if I did it correctly but do like how it turned out. It is a 5x5 card. I colored the image with copic markers and added the banner on the inside as well as a button on the front. The little burlap bow looked good on the bone and I also used some of the ribbon LJ sent. The bakers twine went through the button on the front of the card.
Here is my card:
and here is my card open:
I must apologize for the pictures...I thought I was WAY ahead this month (so far ahead I forgot I needed to post this...uggghhhh). The card has been done for a couple days but I hadn't taken a picture...so I had to take the picture in poor lighting...so again I'm sorry for the poor quality.
Thank you for stopping by, I do appreciate it. If you have a chance, please stop by the other blogs I am sure you won't be disappointed.
Until next time.
Hugs,
Carol
