July 2018 "bees"

Well here I am late...I'm so sorry. I lost track of time and totally didn't realize it was the 15th of the month. I loved the theme this month, Terry A was the leader of the dazzlers and Terry S was the leader of the divas. Terry S sent us the cutest kit. The image I used was hop it, Bumble from Stampabilites/House Mouse. Terry sent us dsp from the paper studio Cheveron, tiny polka dots MME lost and found two, Graphic 5 Harmonious Honeybees, Ell & Viv Honey Bee #1 and recollections Honeycomb. Embellishments are black gems from EK Success, Eyelet outlet Bee Brads, enamel dots and assorted flowers and ribbons.

For my card I chose to use a basic black for the main base and layer it with the Honeybee paper. I used black as a background for the chevron dsp and I took the yellow polka dot ribbon and made a border down the chevron layer. I colored the hop it bumble image with copics and put black glitter glue  on the bee's black bodies and antennas I also used the clear glitter on the wings of the bees. I used black and yellow enamel dots to highlight the corners of the image and on the end of the antennas. I topped the flower with a red and white flower from the kit and the little bee brad is taking a sniff.  Here is the front of my card:

On the inside of my card I used leftovers of the honey comb dsp and the black card stock along with the black enamel brads. Terry had sent along sentiments from MFT and I chose Happy Bee Day for the inside.  Here is the inside of the card:
