DDD Sept 2018--Sunflowers

Hi all, once again it is the 15th of the month and our duel is on. The challengers this month were the fun sister team of Debby for the Dazzlers and Suzy for the Divas. Since we are starting the fall season Debby and Suzy thought sunflowers are a beautiful start to all the fall colors to come. The kit Suzy sent us included:

Stampendous: Sunflower Ladybug image
DSP: Paper Pizazz- burlap and barnwood Paper Studio Tiny polka dot =yellow and making memories red gingham
Embellishments:
Ribbons: brown linen, green ribbon baker's twine yellow and red. Brads red and brass--cut out cardstock buttons a swirl clip

I used each of the dsp papers on my card along with the swirl clip. I love this image and colored up two of the images Suzy sent. I decided to go with the image that I had colored the center of the sunflower a little darker. (I tried a few copic combos before I settled on this one). The ladybug on the flower center does not show up well with this choice of color however, she is there in here red and black glory. I really enjoyed making this card and had fun with the wonderful kit you sent Suzy..Thank you so much for the fun, fun challenge kit.

Here is the front of my card. I took the photo outside and as you can see I have some shadowing but I think it turned out ok. Here is the inside of my card:

I is a bit windy today as well as hot and sunny so the card looks bent. It is bending with the wind but I was afraid of not getting a good picture at all so am using this one.
