Double Duty February 2024


 




Hi all yesterday was the day to post these cards and sadly I am late once again. I'm trying to get caught up and be more timely. The purpose of this challenge is to use two of the same things to make the card be able to be used another way. Barb and Jeanette are both doing this challenge and they make incredible cards. You should stop by and check theirs out.


This month the card company they used was Unity. I LOVE Unity and just got a new set called Grumpy Birds. I had to ink it up and use it right away. I used the birds as my focal image on both cards and I think I messed up with the second thing. Anyway I haven't decided what to used one of the cards for but will use the other for an encouragement card. Here are my cards:

I am a wife a mom of two adult girls and a grandma to 3 wonderful girls and 2 fun active boys. They are the lights of my life, I am also a papercrafter. I love making cards and trying out new ideas and techniques. I dabble in other crafts as well. I crochet blankets, hats and dresses as well as other items to donate to the premie project and try my hand at anything that looks fun. Not necessarily successfully but I do try. Needless to say I am busy. I work full time, spend time with the family and craft when I can. Life is good and God has blessed me. For that I am truly thankful.
