Sassy Studio Progressive Challenge #4 Steampunk Vivian
Hi all, today I am posting the last challenge for the Sassy Studio Steampunk Series...these images have been so much fun to work with. Thanks so much to the DT at Sassy Studio's for this wonderful opportunity...On to my anything goes challenge....
The last image we received was Steampunk Vivian. The challenge anything goes...so instead of a card I decided to do a luminary. I found the directions on the SCS forum page (thank you Bette for the tutorial). I first colored 2 Vivan's with my copic markers and then cut them out. (my pictures aren't the greatest so will apologize in advance). Once I got the images colored and cut I had fun with my stickle glitters...lol..I put black and red stickles on her hat and black stickles on the ruffle of her panties and on the buttons. I also used iridescent stickles on the ruffle of her top...I then used a silver spica pen to highlight the tops of her stockings and her pretty blouse. My trusty silver pen accented the knife in her boot and the barrel of her gun....
I used In My Minds Eye-Haunted small chandeliers paper for the base, my nesties to cut the windows, speckled vellum to cover the windows and black glitter paper (from Target) to trim the windows and add a decorative scalloped design on top. The chandeliers have a rich velour texture and in real life the glitter paper is absolutely shimmery/stunning...I thought a black feather behind the cute little hat would add just a little extra to the whole effect. Below I have a picture of the luminary lit up at night...(again not a great pic but in real life much better).
