Kit #6
Hi all, I'm here to show you what I made with the awesome kit Jeanette sent me. First I have to apologize, Jeanette sent me a list with the deets on it, somehow, I misplaced it. I wanted to get these cards posted as I have my kit from Melina to try and get ready for tomorrow and an awesome kit from Terry to dig into so here goes... Jeanette sent me 3 images as she said she couldn't decide...lol. They all pertained to "rain" I loved them all but I did color up two of them and made cards. I will have to save the other for a "rainy" day and color them up. My first card I made was with the Lalaland image. This girl is so cute I just had to use her for one of my cards. I colored her with copics and her rain hat and umbrella are covered with crystal effects to mimic a wet rainy day. Her little boots have crystal effects as well. I used tempting turquoise from SU for the base of the card---the rest is from the kit. Here is my card:
I loved the beautiful blue flowers Jeanette sent along and as we all know "April showers bring May flowers"...lol..
On my second card I used the Whipper Snapper image Jeanette sent. I colored this cutie with copics and added some of the pearls that were in the kit on the polka dots on her umbrella. The card is an easel card and I used the pretty pink ribbon to hold the card at it's angle. I used cream paper for the base otherwise everything else is from this cute kit..Here is my card:

Things like adding a water feel to the umbrella boots, using crystal effects. Why don't I think of things like that???

The first one is lovely with the orange and turquoise together! The Crystal Effects on the umbrella is perfect! Love the lattice background too.
The second one is cute and fun! What an adorable image and I love the fun use of the pearls on her umbrella. Great job on both!!
