Mo's Challenge #71

Well here I am again this week. I am trying to complete Mo's Challenges and hone up on my copic coloring. This weeks challenge is Spring colors with hand made flower embellishments...I chose Nelly with roses for my little spring girl...she is just adorable and was so much fun to color. I love her little chair and the whole bouquet of roses she is holding in her little hands...I had some daisy dsp and matching vellum I had purchased several years ago...I used it for another card and had some left over in my stash and quite honestly I think yellow and white are very springy..I also was a very lucky recipient of some beautiful hand crocheted flowers. My friend Michelle (GP) had sent me some awhile ago and they were perfect for this card. (Thank you Michelle ♥). I have been hoarding them lol but just had to use them for this card.




I swear I need a magnifying glass though when I color...it all looks fairly good until I take a picture and then I see a little here and there that went out of the lines...sheesh...I did have fun coloring Nelly though and hope you enjoy her as much as I do...

I am a wife a mom of two adult girls and a grandma to 3 wonderful girls and 2 fun active boys. They are the lights of my life, I am also a papercrafter. I love making cards and trying out new ideas and techniques. I dabble in other crafts as well. I crochet blankets, hats and dresses as well as other items to donate to the premie project and try my hand at anything that looks fun. Not necessarily successfully but I do try. Needless to say I am busy. I work full time, spend time with the family and craft when I can. Life is good and God has blessed me. For that I am truly thankful.

OMgosh Carol, this is over the top cute! I'm OOGNG those gorgeous crochet flowers - and the coloring of your little girl, like seriously, you are amazing! This is just fun all over and a wonderful reminder of His promise of Spring! (well, for you all, it's summer here, lol!) x0x0
