Mo's Challenge #101-Autumn Colors--MMSC123
Hi all....today I am covering 2 challenges with one card...giggle...I rarely am able to do that but it worked today. I am doing Mo's Challenge #101 Autumn Colors and the MMSC123 sketch challenge...fun huh... I chose "bunches" for the image today from Mo's awesome collection of digitals. I paired this sweetie with autumn dsp Tim Coffey from K & Co. (a gift from a friend...lucky me..)...First is a picture of the Midnight Madness sketch...I chose the plain sketch as I felt it was a better fit for my image and dsp....
Since Mo's design team had a bouquet of fall colored flowers for inspiration I worked off that scheme to color my image and her beautiful bouquet with my copic markers...Once she was colored I put crystal effects all over the ribbon to give it a shiny look like satin...put white liquid pearls on her shoe buttons and glitter in the centers of the flower...and on the ruffle of her apron. I then cut her out with a plain round nestie and mounted her on the heart nestie..I used SU cherry cobbler for the base of the card (which I really love the look of) and stamped the sentiment with cherry cobbler ink...I noticed afterwards that the white is cut a bit crooked....(it was difficult to cut as it is 1/2" X 1 1/2")...
In keeping with my own personal challenge for myself I also decorated the inside of the card...Now I need to find the perfect sentiment and get this card in the mail... My sweet sister and her DH are celebrating 32 years of wedded bliss on friday so I am hoping I will be on time this year...sigh....
Thank you for stopping by today...I hope you liked my card.
Until next time,
Hugs,
Carol
