Mystery Image Card

Hi all, and late Merry Christmas to each and every one of you.  It has been a busy month and as per usual I'm slow on the draw...(yikes slow seems to be my normal speed lately). Today I have a card to show you that I made for the mystery swap I am in with a wonderful group of ladies....It started a couple of months ago when Jeanette sent a whole group of interested swappers a "mystery Image" we all got the same image and were to create 4 cards. It was so much fun seeing what everyone else made with the image, what a variety of wonderful cards. April then sent us this TGF Anya image along with the designer tape you see behind my TGF Anya image. (The narrow strip of black is the background for the fun tape, the tape I might add, was the most challenging thing for me on this card...yikes, I wasn't sure how to use it).

When I looked at the tape I thought it had an olive hue to it and since I'm a fan of olive I went searching for some paper to compliment the tape...(it appears I was a little off). I colored my sweet Anya with my copic markers and cut her out....(the white behind her has been embossed with my cuttlebug and a dotted embossing folder although this is hard to see in the picture). I added little buttons in the corner and used my favorite (black) to accent the olive and to help my image stand out. The layers Anya is standing on is mounted with mounting tape and Anya is mounted with SU dimentionals. The card stock is Old Olive from SU and the dsp is retired SU.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my mystery card.

          Have a wonderful New Year....

(I hope to be a little more proficient with my posting in the upcoming year...)
