Crafters In Faith December 2012 post

Happy New Year, one and all....It is hard to believe that it is an end of one year and the whole new beginning of another...and another chance to start fresh and make new choices. With that in mind our challenge is as follows:

For our December challenge, we wish to "SNOW" you our winter inspired Crafter of Faith cards!

COF sisters: Create a card/project using a snowy-winter theme and "ring in the new year with glitter and bling!" Your winter/snow card creation should reflect the beauty of the gift of the season - snow, winter, snowflakes, etc and include bling and glitter to ring in the joy of what will be!

Feel free to change the wording and use this as a guide - can't wait to see what you come up with! Our posting date will be December 31st - wow, the last day of this year but it will be filled with wonderous new blessings for the year ahead!

Like a new beginning fresh fallen snow cleans up the old and makes the earth look fresh again.....as you can see in my last post we had a similar challenge for the Calendar Girls December challenge...I thought about a 2 fer but chose to make a separate card (a little late)....

Here is my card:
I used white on white and a snowflake embossing folder and 2 round nestabilities. My image is an Inkadinkado image I purchased at a garage sale. I colored the image with copic markers and dusted the little guys body with some stickles...(I almost got the card done without glitter...wow)...I put rhinestones in the center of the snow flakes and the biggest ones are from a roll of bling I bought for my daughters wedding. The silver ribbon is also from the wedding and the snowflake holding the ribbon bow together came from Barb in the awesome kit she sent last month for the Duel...

Here is the inside of my card:

Inside I used a verse from ODB and some snowflake stickers I found in my stash...

I appreciate your stopping by....please go visit the other crafters in faith blogs...I am certain you will find some awesome creations...

Until next time....

Hugs,
and
Happy New Year!!!

Carol
