I {heart} sketch challenge #154 with a twist

Well I'm back with another challenge issued by the challenge team at From the Heart Stamps. I scooped up the 48 hour freebie Frog and Frozen Flies to use on this challenge. The twist to the challenge was to show off your coloring skills. I've been practicing on my coloring skills for years and no matter how it turns out.....I am in awe of everyone else's coloring skills. I know we are our own critics so I keep plugging along and trying different things with my copic coloring. The sketch I used was here

Sketch154

I chose to turn my sketch and the banners are a little closer than on the actual sketch, The base of the card is  SU old olive, the next layer is SU basic gray and the dsp is Cloud 9 baby boy ribbit.  I used white enamel dimensional faux enamel for the dots on this little guys head. I also used of course glitter on the ants.I used my paper piercer and a template I picked up several years ago. I cut around the frog and mounted him on my card with mounting tape.  Here is my card:

Thanks so stopping by, I do appreciate it.

Until next time,
Hugs,
Carol

Great card! LOVE the DP you used.

Thanks for joining us this week for our i {heart} sketches challenge @ From The Heart Stamps! Hope to see you back again soon :)
Oh my goodness... this is adorable! I feel just like that little frog... I drool when I get close to ice cream treats, too. Only thing is, I never look that cute when I drool. ;)
