DDD October 2016 All Things Fall

Once again I am late. Life totally has taken over. This weekend I attended my grandsons birthday party one turned one and the other 2...I had them overnight on friday so their parents could put together their birhtday bash. In all the chaos I didn't get my card posted...but did have a good time at the party...

Paola was the hostess for the Dazzlers and Kadie was our leader. The chose the theme all things fall as they both love the season and wanted to include as much as they could...Here is what our kits contained:

Stamp: Whipper Snapper

Sentiment: Stampin Up (I'm here for you) or Papertrey Ink (Happy Autumn)

Paper: Lawn Fawn

Misc embellishments

I loved the WS pumpkin image. and had fun coloring it with my copics. I used my clear glitter to highlight the image. I tried to use all the dsp papers but failed this time. There were some really nice dsp's Kadie sent along and I wish I could have used more of them. I picked the sketch from one on pinterest. I really liked the sketch. I chose basic black as the background and used two of the dsp. Here is the front of my card:

I used the orange button on the bottom right side of the card and threaded the twine through it. Between the image and the back brown piece I used the dark brown ribbon with the orange and white stitched 1/8th inch ribbon on top to separate the two layers.

Here is the inside of my card:

I really liked the brown plaid so I used it to back one of the sentiments Kadie sent along.

I hope you like my card. If you get a chance please stop by the other duelers and check out their creations. I am sure you won't be disappointed,..

Thanks for stopping by. Until next time....

Hugs,

Carol

Oh Carol, your card makes me smile! You've colored the image to perfection... and tilting it made it even more fun. Gorgeous card inside and out!

You always used just the right amount of sparkle for the image. I really like the button placement. You did a great job!!!!
