Mystery Image swap Jan 2017

Hello all, today I am sharing my card for the Mystery Image Swap hosted by Vickie. This is our 38th round and it has been a fun ride. The hostess sends an image to all of the girls participating in the swap and we have about a month and a half to create cards with the image. Vickie sent a SU image "everything nice" it was a cute image with a nice sentiment for the inside. I chose to make my own dsp  using glossy paper, I dropped 3 different colors of alcohol ink on the glossy cardstock and placed another piece of white glossy cardstock over the card stock with ink on it and smoshed them all together then slid them apart. This created two background papers. I then let them dry and cut them to size to create a blue/white background. My other colors didn't really show through as I think I may have not put enough of those colors on the paper. I colored my little gal with copics and used blue stickles on the rain to make it pop. I also used crystal effects on the boots to incidate that they were waterproof. The buttons on the coat is pearl colored liquid pearls and I used a Martha Stewart punch to do the swirly edge and cut the punched embelishment in half. I took rhinestones to the edge of the swirlies and put another accent between with pearls. My image is set up with double stick tape. Here is my card:

I used the swirly punch out on the insde as well with the sentiment centered over the full punch.

Thank you for stopping by, I really do appreciate it. If you have a chance to go visiting the other mystery swappers I am sure you will be pleasently surprised how the image looks so different in many wonderfully creative ways.

Thanks again for stopping by.
Until next time,
Carol
