Mo'Challenge #66 and MMSC #88
Hi all....Today I have a card that incorporates two challenges. The first one is Mo's #66 Challenge "A Trip around the World". I picked the "Fan's Cricket" image. I love Mo's digitals and had fun coloring this little lady up. I used copic markers to color her and then highlighted her flowers and the cricket with Spica pens. (You can't tell from the picture but it does give the image a nice shine.) I also used a gold zig painty pen to fill in the detail on her shoes...
I then cut out the oval nesties in black and red, and dry embossed the black with the textile cuttlebug folder. The two black panels on the card base, were embossed/cut with the new cuttlebug lace door folder. I thought both folders were really pretty. I then found a scrap of red and white floral paper to mount all the elements on. I cut out little Fan and mounted her on top of the ovals. I used the midnight madness challenge sketch #88 (plain sketch), and I really like how it turned out. The only thing I added to the sketch was the black rhinestones (a gift from my friend and birthday pal Michelle). I thought the card looked a little bare without them. I hope you enjoyed my card today. It was fun to make
Have a great week....
Hugs,
Carol
