Mo's Challenge #94-Easel Card

Well here I am finally....ready to post a card. Seems like it has been forever and time has been just flying by. Whew...today I am posting my card for Mo's Challenge #94..the challenge is to make an easel card that has a bird or animal somewhere on the card. I picked the image of Dorothy with little "Toto" in her basket.

I colored this image up with copics and used red glitter for her ruby red shoes. I also used iridescent glitter on the ruffle of her dress to make it more prominent. On the bows of her hair and pantaloons I used dots of ice white pearl pen to give them the appearance of having pearly buttons in the center. I also learned on my trip, how to make ribbon roses so I incorporated the ribbon I used on the top of the card  into ribbon roses to hold the card in place when it is open...(I just purchased the oval lacy nestie so just had to give it a whirl on the easel part of the card...)

I'm not sure it this second picture shows the glitter a bit better but it did when I was looking at the cards to transfer.

I hope you enjoyed the card today...thanks for stopping by...

Until next time,
Hugs,
Carol
