Kit #7

I'm back to share with you the card I made from Melina's kit. It was a fun kit to work with and I tried something new to me. I originally had cut square from the pretty dsp Melina sent and mounted the squares on plain cardstock to create an edge along the side of the card base. Of course, I didn't like them when I laid out the card as I had cut the squares a bit too big...so I cut smaller squares and mounted them as well....well they weren't exactly what I had in mind so I mixed the two together to create a back ground for this adorable Penny Black image Melina sent and this is how my card turned out.....

I made a little flower embellie from the ribbon and one of the buttons Melina sent. I then used the extra scraps on the inside and also the cute felt like hedge hog embellishment that was also in the kit...

Here is the inside:
I had fun with this kit...Thanks so much Melina.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you liked the card from this kit.

Until next time,
Hugs,
Carol

What a sweet way to use those DPs - and the ribbon flower is just the right amount of whimsy to match the image. Love those hedgies! Great job with this kit, Carol.
