Dueling Darlings #6

Well here we are again....it's the 15th of the month and once again time for our dueling darling challenge...This month our kits were put together by Judy.....the theme "Fun and Laughter forever after"...and in keeping with the theme Judy sent us this crazy, fun Ethel  from Rubbernecker along with two wonderful sayings....pretty fun dsp, buttons, ribbons, orange brads and rain drops, rhinestones....tons of fun stuff...Immediately when I saw Ethel I got an idea that I just couldn't shake...I've not done a card like this before so it was a stretch for me and having no seconds of the supplies I needed to get it right the first time. I used part of one of the sayings on the outside of my card and the second on the inside...my picture isn't the greatest but this is the outside...

I wanted Ethel to "pop" up when you opened the card so this is my attempt at achieving this idea. As you can see I didn't get a really great picture of either outside or inside as it is either really late or really early in the morning (depending on how you look at it...lol...). I mounted the second half of the saying to match the front of the card with SU Tempting turquoise and basic black and then added the bling. I was going to try a ribbon flower with  the buttons inside but it overpowered the inside so chose to use the pretty verigated fiber held together with a glittery brad...This was a fun card to create...thank you Judy for the fun kit...

We were also supposed to share a New Years resolution that we have made but never kept and wish that we would have...mine would be "regular exercise"...I always make an attempt to be good but it never lasts for long. Had I just stuck with it and been good to my body......I'd be a lean, mean, fighting machine...snicker, snicker...ya right...

Anyway, thank you for stopping by and checking out my card. Now check out the other creations made by the rest of the Diva's and Dazzlers....

And then off to Jeanettes blog http://creativeplayischeaperthantherapy.blogspot.com/, to start your tour of the Dazzlers fun creations.

Have an awesome weekend all...
Hugs,
Carol

OMGosh! I LOVE your pop-up card, Carol!! Love, love, love how you used all the kit to create this colorful and fun card. Great job!!!

I know how hard it is to get into an exercise routine. My DH and I were doing great the last 3 months but over the holidays and with lots of company we haven't been as diligent. It's so hard to get back into a regular routine once it gets disrupted. Keep on trying!!

Oh my goodness......... what a fun MOVING card!!! I love it!!! You're so creative. You've done an outstanding job, my friend!

Now I must say, the Divas are trying to tell me something. Yours is the third Diva blog I've looked at and each of the three have said the resolution is to exercise. I need to exercise, too. Maybe I should join you!

Hugs!
