Mo's Challenge #134-Tickle my funny bone
Can you believe it ...two posts this week...I have been wanting to try and do a Mo challenge every week but life has a way of interfering...so I was pleased to be able to do this weeks challenge...close to the final posting time but I got it done...I bought this digital a year ago because I thought she was so darn cute and oh how I wish I had enough guts to lay out in a bikini with the straps undone...lol...with drink in hand...(I would probably stand up to get another drink and embarrass everyone on the beach...)...
I started out with a whole other idea in mind and well....here is where I got...I colored my image with copic markers and cut it out with my nesties...I then embossed the background with the cuttlebug shell collage folder and gently sponged river rock ink over the embossing to give it some definition....I had this Art Impression saying I have been itching to ink up and thought it was appropriate for this card....
I vividly remember many, many times my girls (when they were younger, actually even now)...had a knack of embarrassing me when we were out in public. Sometimes they knew what they were doing, sometimes not...but either way......they would get me good. (I have returned the favor a time or two)...Anyway, although I don't think they would be embarrassed if this was me on the beach...I sure would....lol....so I thought pairing the image and the sentiment would work perfectly...The starfish and flip flop were buttons I found at JoAnn's.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my card.
Until next time,
Hugs,
Carol
