Twisted Tuesday Challenges -Melinas Birthday
Well, here I am a little earlier...(not at the last minute at least...)...with my card for this weeks challenge...First off I want to wish Melina a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY (a day late)...This week we were to create a birthday card and the twist was to incorporate Melina's favorite embellishment....ribbon.
I used SU poppy parade for the base of this easel card I made. The image is a Mo Manning image and it was colored with copic markers. I of course used glitter on the birthday package ribbon and on her birthday hat. I mounted the image on the card with foam tape so it pops up to make her more of a focal point. The dsp is a SU dsp and am pretty sure it is retired but not positive as I can't remember the name of the dsp pack. It has a lot of different colors in the tiny dots so I chose to pick the certainly celery from the background dsp. I then used certainly celery ribbon for the front and inside of the card accented with pearls.....I have desperately been searching for my stamp that says...."Happy "29th" birthday....from your 110 pound friend...." and as soon as I find it I will stamp that on the inside of this card.
I hope you liked my card for this week.
Thanks for stopping by, I do appreciate it.
Until next time,
Hugs,
Carol
